DIY Zipper-Patterned Bracelet

Hello! Today we're making a bracelet using a knotting technique that gives the bracelet a zippered pattern. You will need:

  • 3 pieces of yarn in at least 2 different colors
  • tape
  • scissors

First, cut your yarn at a length of 4 times around your wrist.

Then, tie the strings together in a knot. Tape the top of the string onto a surface.

Start your bracelet by making a 4 with the left string.

Then do the same thing on the right side with a backward 4.

Keep going until you've reached your desired length.

Tie a knot at the end and tie the ends in another knot. Cut off the excess string, and you're done! This is how my bracelet turned out:

This DIY was extremely easy to make. I love the zippered effect. I hope you try this one out!
