- 2/3 cup of white sugar
- 1/2 cup of water
- 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
- Saucepan
First, put your sugar and water in a saucepan, and put it over medium heat.
Then, stir for 30 seconds. Leave it to simmer for 5 minutes. By then the sugar should be dissolved.
Take it off the heat and add the vanilla extract.
Then, put the mixture in a container and let it cool. You're done! This is how mine looks like:
This DIY was pretty self-explanatory, and fun to make. It tastes great, and I like how you can make different flavors of syrup depending on what kind of extract you use. Enjoy!
