DIY Face Paint

Hello! Today we're making DIY face paint. You will need:

  • 3 tablespoons of cornstarch
  • 3 tablespoons of lotion
  • 1/2 tablespoon of oil- I used vegetable oil
  • washable non-toxic markers

First, pour the lotion into a bowl.

Then add the cornstarch.

Mix well, and add the oil.

Now that you have the base for the face paint, separate the mixture into separate bowls depending on how many colors of face paint you want.

Take the bottom cap off of your marker and take the tube of ink out. With your fingers, squeeze out one drop of ink. Mix well.

Repeat this step with the different colors.

You're done! This is how my face paint turned out:

This DIY was so easy to make. It took less than 20 minutes, and the end result is definitely worth it! I hope you try this out sometime.

DIY Face Mask Slime

Hello! Today we're making DIY slime out of a face mask! You will need:

  • peel-off face mask- make sure the face mask you're using has polyvinyl alcohol in it, or else your slime won't work
  • contact lens solution

First, pour your face mask into a bowl.

Then slowly add in the contact lens solution, just enough to get it from sticking to the bowl.

Knead it with your hands until it becomes less sticky, and you're done! This is how mine turned out:

This DIY was super easy and fun to make! I love the texture of this slime, and it only required two ingredients! I hope you try this out sometime.

DIY Gluten Free Doritos Mozzarella Sticks

Hello! Today we're making DIY gluten free Doritos mozzarella sticks. You will need:

  • 8 cheese sticks
  • 1 cup of gluten free flour
  • 2 lightly whisked eggs
  • 2 cups of Doritos
  • oil for frying (I used coconut oil)
  • plastic sealable bag

First, crush your Doritos by putting them in a plastic sealable bag and hitting it with a rolling pin.

Set it aside. Cut your cheese sticks in half to make 16 smaller pieces.

Set them aside as well. Now it's time to prepare the coating ingredients. Put the egg mixture,

The flour,

and the crushed Doritos next to each other in a line on your working surface (for me this was my countertop) for easy coating.

Now take each cheese stick and dip it into the egg.

Then dip it into the flour,

dip it into the egg a second time,

and finally, coat it with the crushed Doritos. I don't have a picture of this, but it's pretty straightforward. After that, set all of the cheese sticks on a plate and stick them in the freezer for at least 1 hour. After the cheese sticks have been in the freezer, heat your oil in a deep pan on high heat.

Put your cheese sticks in the hot oil for a minute, making sure they don't burn.

Take them out of the oil, and you're done! This is how mine turned out:

This DIY was super easy to make. It's a bit time consuming because of the hour in the freezer, but it's definitely worth the taste. I hope you try this out!
