DIY Geometric Tape Painting Room Decor

Hello! Today we're making a room decor piece using tape and paint! You will need:
  • masking tape (I used washi tape)
  • paint
  • canvas or painting surface
  • paintbrushes (I used Q-tips)

First, use the washi tape to lay lines of tape all over the canvas in geometric shapes.

Then, paint the negative space in different colors. I chose to go for a simplistic theme, painting in a dabbing motion.

Peel off the tape, let it dry, and you're done! This is how mine turned out:

This DIY was so fun to make. It's a great piece to put anywhere in your room. I hope you try this one out!

DIY Energy Balls

Hello! Today we're making energy balls. You will need:

  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons protein powder
  • 1 1/4 cups of rolled oats
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons of flaxseed meal
  • 2 tablespoons of chia seeds
  • 1/4 cup of chocolate chips
  • mini cupcake liners

First, mix all of the ingredients together.

Make sure it has a dough-like consistency. If the mixture is too dry, add more almond butter. If it's too wet, add more oatmeal.

Put the mixture in the fridge for 5-10 minutes until it reaches a harder consistency. Meanwhile, place mini cupcake liners in a sealable container.

Take the mixture out of the fridge, and roll it into small balls. Place the balls in the cupcake liners and store in the fridge. After that, you're done! This is how my energy balls turned out:

This DIY was so easy to make. They're a healthy, sweet snack, perfect to take out the door! I hope you try them out.

DIY Candy Basket

Hello! Today we're making candy baskets out of a paper plate! You will need:

  • paper plate
  • scissors
  • pencil
  • tape
  • ruler (optional)

First, draw 2 lines on the top and bottom of the plate, making sure they line up.

Then, connect the lines with pencil marks. Also at the top and bottom of the center circle in the plate, draw two horizontal lines going across the plate.

Fold along the lines you just made, and tape everything in place

And you're done! This is how my basket turned out:
