DIY Rosewater

Hello! Today we're making DIY rosewater. You will need:

  • rose petals (I used 2 roses)
  • water
  • ice

First, lay your rose petals in a pot and cover with water. Place a small jar in the middle to catch the water. Turn pot on medium heat.

Place a lid upside down over the pot.

When the lid starts to form condensation, put ice over the lid to help guide the rosewater into the jar.

Keep on heat until the jar is full. Take off heat, and you're done! This is how mine turned out:

This DIY was so easy to make. Rosewater has so many health benefits! Personally, I am going to dilute my rosewater with more water to make a face toner. I hope you try this one out!

DIY Straw Coil Bracelet

Hello! Today we're making a bracelet out of drinking straws. This is a great way to use up a drinking straw if you are given a straw at a restaurant and prefer not to use one. You will need:

  • drinking straw
  • pencil sharpener

First, run your straw through the sharpener in a twisting motion. It might take a few tries to get it to look nice.

Once your straw is long enough to wrap around your wrist, take it off of the sharpener. Twist the ends through each other, and you're done! This is how my bracelet turned out:

This DIY was super easy to make. I like the upcycled element of this project! I hope you try this out.
