- green construction paper
- scissors
First, cut a square out of your construction paper.
Then fold it in half diagonally.
Fold it again diagonally, making the corners meet up.
Then unfold the whole thing. You should have two creases going across the corners.
Then fold it in half horizontally.
Fold it in half again, making a smaller square.
Then unfold the whole thing.
After that, fold using one of the diagonal creases.
Lift up the side and push down.
Do this to the other side as well.
Lift up one of the sides,
and press down. The pointed tip should be facing up.
Do this to all sides and then cut off the bottom.
Then make small slits about 1/4-inch apart going halfway across the middle crease.
Fold the corners of the slits down, one side at a time.
Do this to all sides, and you're done! This is how mine turned out:
This DIY was super fun to make. These trees are great for festive room decor! Feel free to make them in any color you want to add a pop of color to your room. I hope you try this out, and happy holidays!
Until next week,
