DIY Deodorizing Disks

Hello! Today we're making DIY deodorizing disks. You can put them anywhere to minimize any odors. For this, you will need:
  • 2 cups of baking soda
  • 1 cup of water
  • Essential oil- I used rosemary
  • Silicone molds
  • Bowl to mix ingredients in
  • Whisk or spoon to stir
  • Optional: food coloring

First, add 3-4 drops of your essential oil to 1/2 cup of water.

Pour your baking soda into a bowl, and add your oil and water mixture. Then put in the rest of your water. Stir in food coloring if desired.

Stir everything together with a whisk until a thick paste forms. If it's too wet, add more baking soda. If it's too dry, add more water.

When everything is mixed thoroughly, pour the mixture into your molds.

Lastly, let dry. Mine took about 24 hours to dry, so this is a pretty time consuming project. When they are finally dry, take them out of the molds. And you're done! These are how mine turned out:

This DIY was very easy to make. They actually work to deodorize different places. The only thing is that they are very time consuming, but it's worth it! I recommend this DIY.

Until next week,
