DIY Lacing Cord Bracelet

Hello! Today we're making bracelets out of lacing cord. You will need:

  • Lacing cord
  • Jump rings
  • Chain
  • Bracelet clasps
  • Scissors
  • Tape

First, measure your lacing cord by wrapping it around your wrist 7 times.

Then, cross one strand over the other and tape them over the middle.

Then make two loops going in different directions, like in the photo.

With the other piece of lacing cord, weave it over then under the loop. Repeat with the other strand.

Pull it tight, and you have your first stitch! Repeat the stitches until the bracelet goes around your wrist. I only made mine halfway around my wrist because my chain was long.

To knot your bracelet, start off with a loose stitch. Be sure not to pull it tight.

Take any of the four stands and insert the strand into the loop on the left. Repeat with the other three strands. Pull it tight, and cut off the ends.

Then, insert a jump ring into the beginning of the bracelet.

Attach the chain on one side.

Then on the other side.

Attach the clasp, and you're done! This is how mine turned out:

This DIY was super fun to make. It was a bit complicated at first, but then I got the hang of it. You should try this one out!

Until next week,
